I would like to share a great experience I had when buying a used car at Colonial Motors Ltd in Milford. Jeff Saunders, the dealer from whom I made my purchase, is truly an honest, trustworthy, helpful and kind business man. I have bought cars from Jeff and his family in the past and have always had a good experience.
Jeff has told me he only sells cars that he would have his own family drive, and I believe it. He took in my old car ( a 1995 Buick Park Avenue which I also bought from him) as a trade-in. He made the transaction so smooth and easy. After I had my new 2007 Buick LaCrosse home for a few days, Jeff stopped over to my house to see how I liked it. He truly cares about his customers.
I would highly recommend Colonial Motors LTD when shopping for your next car. It's people like Jeff Saunders who remind me of how lucky I am to live in a community like Milford.

I am compelled to write to tell you what you have meant to me over the past thirty or more years. After talking to Jeff this past week I realized just what a wonderful thing this relationship has been.
I don't think there are too many folks in this fast paced world of today that can say they have bought 19 cars from, not only the same dealer, but the same family.
I am so blessed to know all of you, Donna & Bill (from school) and Jeff & Brian. I don't recall my first car I purchsed but I do know I have always been treated with such honesty and respect that buying a car from anyone else would not have entered my mind. That is something that was rare back then and almost unheard of these days. A woman car shopper is an easy 'mark' to many dealers. I have found that out here in Florida.
The professional but very friendly way this organization is operated is a testimony to why it has been so successful for so long. It would not have worked exept for the true caring and consideration these great people have for their clients and the honesty they extend to all.
When I stop to think of my many blessings in this life I put all of you at the top of my list and thank God for knowing you and having the privilege of being your friend and client.

Hi Folks, I've been a repeat customer for over 25 years and have always bee treated good & fair. In general I hate car sales people, but they are different at Colonial Motors. Low key, no pressure, and no BS. You feel like you are dealing with customers you can trust. Jeff continues to constantly hunt up good clean used cars. I have to admit I am one of the many guys who sneak around the lot at night checking out the cars (only now I have to drive all the way from Howell!) It is like a carshow or maybe Milford's answer to Barrett-Jackson. You can tell Jeff is truely a car guy and always will be and we will keepsneaking around, but also buying when the time is right! I just wanted to add my personal feelings towards Jeff in regards to our dealings for the last 26 years. I have purchased 15 to 20 cars from this dealership and anytime that I may have had a problem it was automatically taken care of. Those times were few and far between. Every car was in perfect running order and in absolute great condition. Jeff and his brother Brian are the only ones that we ever went to for a used automobile and we have been absolutely 100% satisfied with every purchase. Dear Editor,
I recently gratuated from college and got my first job, apartment and a new used car. I decided to travel back into Milford where I have lived all my life to search for that car. I have driven by Colonial Motors a thousand times and noticed nice looking cars in the lot but never stopped there before. When I did, I found the car that I had wanted forever but, just as important, I found a great place to do business. From the first time I visited the dealership i was treated like they had known me for years. Everything was handled so professionally, yet so non-pressured and relaxed. In fact, even when a mechanical issue was discovered, Colonial stood behind their product 100% and handled repaires without question.
I could not be happier with the way I was treated and the service that was given to me. I felt they went above and beyond what I would have ever expected froma car dealership.
I am not the type to write to a newspaper, but after the way I was treated I felt it was the least I could do to thank Colonial Motors for their great service and customer care. They give small town business a good name and give customers a good reason to shop at their dealership.

Nicole, this is Mike E. I purchased your 2004 Orange Mustang GT Convertible back in early September. I grew up with junk cars that never really ran properly, so buying this car was like heaven on earth. And, to add on top of that the fact I grew up insanley in love with Mustangs! Jeff, received your card in the mail and just wanted to let you know that I am thoroughly enjoying my hemi magnum. Of course the gas prices jumped up as soon as I bought it but you re right the little extra in gas is well worth the ride. I sure love the feel of that engine when it kicks in. Got my first speeding ticket in it though, going 88 in a 70 but he only wrote me up for 5 over so I didn t get the points. What a nice police officer, yuck yuck. Honestly, it rides so smooth sometimes I don't realize how fast I m going. I ve never had a sunroof before so that s a bonus and I m using the heated seats already for my old bones.
